Top seed Andy Roddick clinched his 500^th ATP Tour match this evening defeating fellow American Sam Querrey.

In a thrilling, sold-out match Roddick saved seven break points to advance to the quarterfinals 7-6 (4), 6-4.

This win also marks Roddick's ninth quarterfinal appearance for 2009.

Roddick plays his quarterfinals match against Ivo Karlovic in the first match of the evening session.

Karlovic and Roddick last met at the Queen's Club Championship in June this year - Roddick won in a close 7-6 (4), 7-6 (5) match.

ESPN2 will broadcast live from the William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Center from 7 p.m.
